Arctic Research and its Actors - A Pre-study Mapping of Research Strategies and Priorities

University of the Arctic has commissioned the Norwegian Scientific Academy for Polar Research (NVP) to undertake a detailed desk-study, documenting both the past and present landscape of formal and informal actors and their respective influences in Arctic science and research. This pivotal assignment, named “Arctic Research – Improving Knowledge of Actors and their Influence,” aims to meticulously assess the current state of Arctic science and the pivotal roles of its major contributors. To ensure thoroughness and accuracy, NVP has collaborated with the Fridtjof Nansen Institute (FNI) for the execution of the requisite research and analysis. The culmination of these collective efforts is the newly released report: Arctic Research and its Actors. A Pre-study Mapping of Research Strategies and Priorities.
